Smartmatt™ are made by the Swedish company Arla Plast AB, situated in Borensberg.

We started producing chairmats in the beginning of the 80’s.
In the 1990’s the Chairmat are going international through selected distributors in Europe.
In 1995 the development of Anti-Slip foil was ready. Since then we have refined the anti-slip foil many times.
In 1997 the development of Chairmat Spikes Suceeded.
In 2008 we started producing Colored Chairmats.
In 2009 we introduced the Smartmatt Brand name.

Today we are a well-established producer with long excperience in chairmats.

Arla Plast has certified management systems for quality, environment and work environment. ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004 and AFS 2001:1. Our manufacturing operation for PC, PETG and ABS products features a high degree of quality awareness. Well trained and skilled staff carefully monitors the extruding process.

Our technical department has an advanced laboratory offering a broad range of technical resources that can verify the exact properties of every single SmartMatt. A materials practical functionality is also tested very carefully. Our ISO 9001 certification gained many years ago helps us in our overall quality management in terms of production, distribution and service.
